David Gault sees patients of all ages, from birth upwards, and approximately equal numbers of men and women. All consultations take place in his clinics. He does not undertake domiciliary visits.
Mr Gault speaks English and French. He has a reasonable grasp of Spanish and Arabic, but patients who speak no English are best advised to bring along an interpreter.
Mr Gault operates on children under three only at the Portland Hospital, London, but babies and children under three can be seen for consultation, suture removal and the fitting of Ear Buddies at the Bishops Wood Hospital and the Portland Hospital. Children between 3 and 16 years of age can be seen only for consultation at the Wellington Hospital, London. Adults can be seen at all of Mr Gault's clinics. Males over 16 years of age cannot undergo treatment as an in-patient or out-patient at the Portland Hospital, London.
Mr Gault uses a range of lasers including those for depilation, pigment, tattoos and vascular lesions, at the Lister Hospital. Carbon dioxide laser treatment is undertaken at the Bishops Wood Hospital, both on an in-patient and out-patient basis. Carbon dioxide laser treatment is only available at the Wellington Hospital as an in-patient. Vascular laser treatment (for red lesions) is available for children at the Portland and for adults at the Lister Hospital, Chelsea.
