The LCEAR specialises in surgery for ear deformity including congenital malformations such as lop and cup ear, ear tags and cryptotia and ear loss after accidents, burns, bites and cancer. It is the London base of Mr David Gault FRCS, whose technique for pinnaplasty (otoplasty), is now acknowledged as the most safe and successful for sticking-out ears. He is an authority on cosmetic ear surgery, including the correction of large ears (macrotia) and lobes, torn ear lobes, keloid scarring, piercing problems and failed surgery for bat ears.
